Where to start?
The first thing to understand is what is a blog! Depending on where you are from you may refer to a blog as simply a website. I know when I first started the wording “blog” was unfamiliar to me. Whatever you prefer to call it, I am hooked… Hooked on Blogging! It is very easy to become hooked.
Wikipedia describes a blog as a discussion or informational website published on the World Wide Web consisting of discrete, often informal diary-style text entries (posts).
The above description is true…to an extent. However it is a very bland explanation to describe what some very talented people who share with a passion the knowledge they have. Blogger’s share information on all sorts of topics from being a Mom/Mum, teaching kids, cooking, managing money, and how to blog just to mention a few. Pretty much anything and everything that you can possibly think of and then probably a few more.
And let us not forget…CRAFTING! Crafting is definitely my passion… I love helping others to learn by creating tutorial style posts in the crafting arena.
Who should blog
Anyone with a passion for a particular topic can blog. That’s it! You will need to aim for great content to keep readers engaged as this is a key to be successful. This is certainly my aim which I am forever trying to improve so that my readers have the best experience I can provide.
Many bloggers have a goal to achieve financial independence with their blog and this is certainly something that is achievable. Many, many bloggers earn a full-time income from their blog. They too are hooked on blogging.
